In a nutshell
At 12 advice centres in Germany, we provide information and support to employees from Central and Eastern Europe in their native languages on labour law issues and problems. Our services are aimed at all sectors and are supplemented by sector-specific expertise in six key areas. In 2024, we achieved the following results through our work
The majority of people seeking advice now find us via digital channels. For example, 54.5% find out about our services online, while only 30.5% come to us through recommendations from third parties. The expansion of our digital presence is showing clear success here.
Our counselling work covers a wide range of topics that reflect the most important challenges faced by those seeking advice. Around 45% of all cases concern pay and remuneration issues, while almost 28% of those seeking advice had concerns relating to dismissals. Other topics include labour and collective agreements, legal proceedings and employment documents.
We support employees from a wide range of sectors, with a focus on areas such as warehousing/logistics (16.2 %), construction (12.3 %), building cleaning (10.2 %) and international road transport (10.1 %). Our services are explicitly aimed at those seeking advice from Central and Eastern Europe. This is also reflected in the origin of our advice seekers: 34.8 % come from Poland, 26.7 % from Romania, 16.4 % from Bulgaria and 7 % from Hungary. A total of 9.1% of those seeking advice come from Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Serbia.
The work of Fair Mobility is having a direct impact. In more than 90% of cases, we were able to support those seeking advice or refer them to suitable organisations. 87.8% of the counselling sessions were successfully completed directly by our team.
